Introduction
Premier Limb Lengthening is a cosmetic and reconstructive limb-lengthening surgery practice founded by Dr. Hrayr Basmajian. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our website at premierlimblengthening.com and the services we offer through it.
Premier Limb Lengthening is a separate practice from Premier Orthopaedic and Trauma Specialists. Dr. Basmajian founded both practices, but Premier Limb Lengthening is its own practice. It is not a division, subsidiary, or part of Premier Orthopaedic and Trauma Specialists. This Privacy Policy binds Premier Limb Lengthening only. References in this policy to “we,” “us,” “our,” and “the practice” mean Premier Limb Lengthening.
This policy covers the information we collect through our website, including data submitted through our online consultation form and through messages you send us. Our practice is a HIPAA Covered Entity. Information that constitutes Protected Health Information is handled separately under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and our Notice of Privacy Practices. Please see the section titled Protected Health Information and HIPAA below to understand how the two work together.
By using our website or by providing information to us through it, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us directly, and information that is collected automatically when you use our website.

When you contact us by phone, email, the website chat widget, or text message, we collect the contents of those communications and any information you choose to share.
Some of the information you give us, such as details about your height goals or medical history, can relate to your health. We treat that information with care. Where this information becomes part of your patient record or is otherwise governed by HIPAA, it is handled as described in the Protected Health Information and HIPAA section below.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:
- Device and browser information, such as device type, operating system, and browser version
- Log information, such as your IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits

SMS and Mobile Information
This section explains how we handle mobile phone numbers and text messaging. It applies to text (SMS and MMS) messages sent or received through our messaging provider, which is part of the GoHighLevel and LeadConnector platform.
Our Mobile Data Commitment
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
The following describes how mobile information may be handled:
- We may share mobile information with subcontractors and service providers that help us deliver messages or provide customer support. Those parties are permitted to use the information only to perform those services for us and may not use it for any other purpose.
- Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging opt-in and consent data from any sharing.
How We Collect Your Mobile Number
We collect your mobile number when you provide it to us and opt in to receive text messages. This typically happens when you enter your phone number on our online consultation form and agree to be contacted by text, or when you otherwise give us your number and consent to messaging.
What Our Messages Are About
When you opt in, the text messages we send relate to:
- Consultation scheduling
- Appointment reminders
- Treatment and recovery coordination
- Billing and care updates
- Replies to your questions and inquiries
Any promotional or marketing text messages require a separate opt-in. We will not send you promotional texts unless you have specifically agreed to receive them.
Your Consent Is Voluntary
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any services or of receiving care. You may decline text messaging and still receive consultations, treatment, and all other services.
Message Frequency, Rates, and How to Stop
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website currently uses only minimal cookies and similar technologies. We use them to operate the site and to support core features such as our consultation form and the chat widget.
Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for the website and its features to function. These include cookies set by our website host and by the form, chat, and messaging features provided through the GoHighLevel and LeadConnector platform. Because these cookies are required for the site to work, they are not used for advertising.
Analytics and Future Changes
The website does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We do not use Google Analytics, and we do not use advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel.
If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will do so on a consent basis where required by law, and we will update this policy to describe the tool and its purpose. We will never use advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel, and we do not sell your data.
Managing Cookies
Most web browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the website, such as the consultation form or chat widget, may not work properly.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances described below, and each service provider that handles information for us does so under a written agreement that limits their use of that information to the services they provide to us.
Service Providers and Subprocessors
We use trusted service providers to operate our website and communicate with you, including:
- Our website host, which delivers and supports the website
- Our form and customer relationship management provider, GoHighLevel and LeadConnector, which powers our consultation form, chat widget, and messaging
- Message-delivery providers that transmit our text and email messages
- Our financing partner, CareCredit and Synchrony, when you choose to apply for financing through a link we provide
These providers may process your information only to perform services for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
Financing Partner
If you choose to apply for financing through CareCredit and Synchrony, you do so directly with that company. The information you submit to them is governed by their own privacy practices. Please review their policies before applying.
Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful government request
- Enforce our terms and policies
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of our patients, our practice, or others
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
Business Transfers
If our practice is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require that any successor continue to honor the commitments in this Privacy Policy or provide notice and choice as required by law.
Mobile Data Carve-Out
As stated in the SMS and Mobile Information section, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Protected Health Information and HIPAA
Premier Limb Lengthening is a HIPAA Covered Entity. Information that constitutes Protected Health Information under HIPAA is governed by HIPAA and by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this Privacy Policy.
Our Notice of Privacy Practices describes how we may use and disclose your Protected Health Information for treatment, payment, and health care operations, and it explains your rights with respect to that information. The Notice of Privacy Practices is available upon request and at our office.
This Privacy Policy governs information collected through our website that is not Protected Health Information, such as general website usage data and the contact details you submit through our consultation form before you become a patient. The two documents work together:
- This Privacy Policy applies to website data that is not Protected Health Information.
- Our Notice of Privacy Practices applies to Protected Health Information.
If there is any conflict between this Privacy Policy and our Notice of Privacy Practices with respect to Protected Health Information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.
Data Security
We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include:
- Administrative safeguards, such as access controls and staff practices that limit who can view information
- Physical safeguards at our office for records and devices
- Technical safeguards, such as encryption of data in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) when you submit information through our website
No method of transmitting information over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You provide information to us at your own discretion.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, to provide and coordinate care, and to meet our legal, regulatory, professional, and recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete it or to de-identify it.
Patient medical records are retained in accordance with the requirements that apply to medical records in California and under federal law. Website consultation-form submissions that do not become part of a patient medical record are retained for 90 days, after which they are deleted or de-identified, unless a longer period is required to meet a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the CCPA or CPRA), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information.
